Welcome to the official Need 4 Cheez website!

Hello and welcome, here at Need 4 Cheez our goal is to produce fun and efficient mousetrap powered toys. Our current project is to construct a long range, single directional mousetrap powered vehicle. Feel Free to explore our website and post suggestions!

Day-5&6 ah Houston we have a problem...

So for days five and six we ran into a few problems. Firstly we realized how close we are to our deadline sending some of our workers into a panic state and secondly our MTC (mouse trap car) while working on it we sort of broke it. So we need more time to finish our model and thirdly (and lastly) our mouse trap car's propelling system is not working. So our theorized resolve is to build a better three gear transmission for our car to actually move, request more time to complete our model and fix our MTC. Continue to check our website for more updates on the Need 4 Cheez mouse trap car. Also we have managed to stabilize our wheels to our car.

Day-3&4 course layed in captain...

On the third day of production we have managed to assemble some of the chasis so that it could support our mousetrap mechanism and wheels. We have also reduced the mass of the chassis by drilling equal sized holes at intervals in distance to reduce mass and therefore weight. On the fourth day we have worked on the rear braket of the car's chassia thus allowing us to stabilize the axel and form an area for our three-gear transmission. And also we have worked on the front end of the chassis for our third wheel to be attached to. Revisit this blog for the latest updates on the Need 4 Cheez MTC.

Day-2 Let's get the wheels rolling...

So today we have officially started the mouse trap car. We have drawn our first preliminary schematics for our car and we have gathered some of the materials needed for the car. We plan to use chloroplast boards, jinx wood, dowel, disc shaped plastic of various shapes, rope, a mouse trap and a secret lubricant that shall not be named for secretive purposes. With these material we will reduce the mass as much as we can and hope for the car to work well. The Image for the first schematic will be up soon and continue to follow us for details.

Day-1 The First Steps

Today is our first day of our first project: A Long Range Single Directional Mouse Trap Car or LRSDMTC for short(sort of). Our task group consists of four members to accomplish our task. Today we have gathered our group and hypothesized different ideas for a mousetrap car. We have also established a prototype to examine and learn from. We have had a great start to this project and hope to finish this task with the greatest efficiently.
